Donate to Feeding the Hungry
The Los Barriles Feeding the Hungry Program supports families in our community suffering from poverty and food insecurity by providing them a voucher worth 300 pesos (approx. $16 USD) every week. These vouchers can be redeemed at a local supermarket to purchase food, medicine or other essential supplies.
The Feeding the Hungry Family Sponsorship Program is a 1-year commitment from our donors of $820 USD. This amount guarantees the sponsored family will receive a voucher each week for an entire year.
Feeding the Hungry supplies doners who wish to be part of this program with details about who they are supporting. It is an amazing privilege, and marvelous feeling to know a little about the individual or family that your giving is supporting.
Feeding The Hungry is run 100% by volunteers. The money received through the program is used entirely to purchase food vouchers. Any amount donated goes a long way to helping families achieve food security.
Leaders2Give has been happy to support this program by getting local youth involved. This hands-on work is helping them develop as future leaders in the community.
