Hector Boirie

Hector retired after a successful 40-year career in healthcare.  Most recently he served as Chief Strategy Officer at Renown Health - Northern Nevada’s largest healthcare delivery system.  He developed short and long range strategic operational & business opportunities necessary to serve needs of a growing population in an increasingly consumer centric and technology-driven industry.

Hector also served as Senior Vice President & Chief Resource Officer for Providence Health System.  Via the creation of The Resource, Engineering & Hospitality Group, he led an industry-leading, value-oriented model to transform how external spend resources, hospitality, and engineering services were delivered in support of Providence’s strategic goals.  His scope of responsibility included a $7 billion dollar space within this $25 billion multi-state organization.  This included responsibility for nearly 7,000 caregivers.

Having served his country following college, Hector began as a clinician at Madigan Army Medical Center, where among other roles he served as administrator of surgical services.  He also provided executive management and consulting leadership for major industry clients within and outside the United States.

Hector and his wife Sonia have been full time residents in Los Barriles, BCS since October 2022.  They have two adult children, six grandchildren and the greatest dog in the world: Ike.  He enjoys serving the community in a variety of roles including East Cape Health, Cortez Rescue, and others.

Hector earned both his undergraduate and MBA degrees at Almeda University.
